Are you looking for a challenging but rewarding job? We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Sales and Marketing team! This position will generate qualified prospects using custom-tailored emails, calls, and social media networking. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.

To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable using search engines (such as Google and LinkedIn) to find and connect with businesses and key contacts daily. Previous experience with developing outreach lists, success with outbound campaigns, and achieving weekly targets is ideal. If you are motivated, results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like you to join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing team to develop qualified lead prospecting plans
  • Conduct high volume outreach, contacting potential clients through cold calls, emails, and social media
  • Stay up to date with marketing content and sales messaging
  • Tailor outreach techniques to the ideal prospects; perform A/B testing with messaging and content
  • Pass qualified leads to the appropriate Account Executive or Customer Care
  • Set up meetings on behalf of sales team members and prospective clients
  • Report to the sales manager to review/discuss KPIs

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Associates degree or higher
  • The ability to multi-task while working in fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications, LinkedIn, search engines
  • Persistence to achieve a high volume of outbound activity each day while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude (in summary: “grit”)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Additional attributes: charisma, perseverance, self-motivated, creative
